Acme-Hardesty LLC Announces John (“JT”) Hill as President

Blue Bell, PA, August 3rd, 2026 – Acme-Hardesty, a leading distributor of sustainably sourced, renewable, and specialty ingredients, is pleased to announce the appointment of John (“JT”) Hill as President, effective August 3rd, 2026.

JT joins Acme-Hardesty with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the chemical distribution industry. As President, he will lead the company’s Executive Leadership Team and assume responsibility for the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the organization, guiding Acme-Hardesty’s continued growth and long-term success.

Reporting directly to Philip Bernstein, Chairman and CEO of Jacob Stern & Sons, Inc., the owner of Acme-Hardesty LLC, JT will oversee all aspects of the business, including commercial operations, supply chain, financial performance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. He will lead the execution of Acme-Hardesty’s growth strategy while strengthening the company’s commitment to exceptional customer service, supplier partnerships, and market leadership.

Prior to joining Acme-Hardesty, JT held several executive leadership roles at Brenntag North America, where he most recently served as President of Great Lakes and Northeast. Throughout his career, he has successfully led large, multi-site organizations and developed a reputation for fostering strong customer relationships, supporting supplier partnerships, and driving sustainable business growth.

JT holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Lock Haven University and has completed advanced professional development programs through Texas A&M University’s School of Industrial Distribution and INSEAD.
