    Methyl Laurate, also known as Dodecanoic Acid Methyl Ester and Lauric Acid Methyl Ester, falls under the category of Fractionated Palm Methyl Esters. Methyl Laurate liquid is derived primarily from vegetable oils and is clear to slightly yellow in color. Methyl Laurate is also insoluble in water, although it is soluble in most organic solvents.     Metal Working Fluids: Methyl Laurate acts as a chemical intermediate in metal working fluids and rolling fluids, as well as a lubricant. An intermediate is a material that is produced during the middle stages of a chemical reaction and facilitates a further reaction to achieve the desired outcome.

    Textiles: Methyl Laurate is used as a raw material for spin finishes and as an oiling agent for textile manufacturing applications. It serves as an effective Replacement for mineral oil.

    Lubricants and Greases: A wide range of industrial lubricants and greases contain Methyl Laurate due to its easy solubility in organic materials and insolubility in water. In particular, it works well as a lubricity additive for metalworking that is oil soluble and water emulsifiable.
